3. Yes, yes, yes. I gulped a whole bottle of wine

during the debate. Initially I was slurping in a nervous tizzy, then I was hoisting toasts to Kerry. Slept like a baby, too.

I got drunk, but really, I had the equivalent of 2 real beers since my state takes out about half of the alcohol. I got to bed late because of the adrenaline, but slept better than I have in months. Tonight I'm drinking Captain Bastard's Oatmeal Stout. I hope I'm not becoming an alcoholic. Beer is just so goooood. Especially a beer you can sink your teeth into.

I got like 9 hours of sleep last night and I still felt like shit the whole day. WTF is up with that? :shrug:

7. I had three glasses of wine during the debate, they went down

really easy. The first glass was my self medication for pre debate jitters, the next two were celebratory and "enjoying the show!"

I had 4 oz of Rum and 4 oz of Hypnotique in 3 hours so I should have been in rotten shape, especially since I had to be up at 4:30.

But... nothing. I was a bit tired after my 6 hour night, but I was fine. It was weird.

I've gotten miserable hangovers from a single glass of wine or a beer... and then I drink like a fish and I'm okay? WTF?
