6. I keep thinking of the debate as the final scene in
Gladiator, only without both of them dying. Emperor Commodius steps up to the podium after stabbing the Gladiator with his slanders for months, expecting the Gladiator to be too weak to stand. Instead, Kerry grabbed his sword and stuck it right up his podium.

Just my take.
