Crewleader reporting in....
now that my power was just turn on this morning!
7 days without it for Jeanne and 10 days without it for Frances.

What Frances did, made it easy for Jeanne but we will get through this with time but the best thing is we are all OK! I'm tired but very grateful we made it through it all. It's the aftermath that is the roughest and Florida is not kind at this time of year.

I was pleased with my rabbit ears watching the Presidential Debate on ABC the only TV station I could get...sought of reminded me of the days in my youth watching presidential debates from days gone by.

John Kerry did a great job of expressing himself and his leadership that he was so much more presidential then Bush ever thought of being. Bush's record shows that he doesn't have any and that debate was suppose to be Bush's strength, NOT! Go Kerry!

I look forward to Kerry's big win in November and all of you being a good reason why he makes it, all the support he gets here from the best people on the Left, you all are so dedicated and I'm proud to know you all. It's good to be back friends! :hi:

39. You are a sweetheart Teena
we got it covered friend but I think we're not going to go shingles next roof, barrel tile or the metal one that looks like tile.

My poor neighbor got her roof done right after Frances and Jeanne repeated the same action, so now again her roof needs to be done.

Someone ask if I'm keeping the boards up since the season isn't over til the end of November, some bigger ones will stay til we are sure because they are heavy to hang but I got the smaller windows all off and the sliding doors. I'll be glad when it's over, then we are getting into some nice weather and temperatures.

Thanks again Teena for your thoughtfulness! :loveya:

Being in South Louisiana, I know how much fun it can be without power for a week at a time after a storm. Glad you are back among the air-conditioned!

you know how it is, being in Louisana. Now their worried over West Nile Virus since a woman came down with it on Merrit Island.
Like I said so much dealing with the aftermath but the storm itself was quite scary at times, boarded up helped not take the roof off.

13. Hi Madmax
you said it right, Kerry cleaned dubya's clock, big time!

Yesterday in a intersection where Kerry supporters were surround by Bush supporters since this is a repug county...but when we went by with our horn going to town, our Kerry/Edwards bumper sticker in the window with our thumbs up...those Kerry Supporters' came alive and started to cheer....what determination to be standing there surround by them and still giving it their all!

That's What It Will Take To Win!

God Bless All The Kerry Supporters!

7. Nice to hear from you Crewleader
I know that the space coast got hit quite a bit harder than we did up here near Daytona. Remarkably, we did not even lose power due to Jeanne (but did for several days from Frances). I hope we can get back to normal FL weather without anymore land-falling hurricanes. Take care. :hi:

23. Thanks for the welcome home dear friend
I bet it's beautiful where you are right now,the fall foliage with the colorful leaves. My trees that did make it, all the leaves are falling, most of the woods behind me is bare.
One more maple tree to cut down, it split right at the base of the tree. When I can I will replace them with palm trees, they seem to bend with the winds and survive alot of abuse.

Enjoy your color this Fall, coalsminersdaughter and thanks again for the welcome home!

Kerry will be voted in as President...that debate made me sleep peacefully for the future looks bright. We will be in good hands with John Kerry and John Edwards and all who work for their administration.

There will be a big mess for them to clean up, but it will be good, those who need to help will be paying their fair share.

You give your beautiful guys hugs from me and here is one for you Mom!
