Alou (too many OFs in the farm system) and Grudzielanek (Todd Walker wants playing time) are locks, though.
Nomar will be back. His release would be far too unpopular with Cubs fans for the Tribune company to dare do it.
I could swear Sosa had a player option through this year.
I'm not sure about the Farns' status, but I don't think he'll be cut either.

what the fans think? As long as the Tribune keeps raking in the bucks, they won't spend any more than they have to, and Nomar cost too much for them. Alou, Grudzielanek, and Farnsworth are all gone as well.
