due to lack of posts. Uh, not that I know anything about "inactive threads sinking from lack of replies"...---yaas, THAT's the ticket.

Then there's the category of "Shameless kick," which is kicking one's OWN thread to bring it back from the dead. Not that I know anything about THAT, either.

And then there's the "Threadkiller" phenomenon, which, I'm TOLD, has something to do with a LIVELY thread being immediately suffocated into inactivity when one happens to post into it. And again, this is another one of those urban legends that I personally cannot POSSIBLY vouch for.

Tip: For the occasional humongous thread, go for a bash on "Dr" Laura or Rush LIMBO or any number of wingnut jerks.
