Last Thursday during the debate, I asked my four year old daughter "what do you think of this guy?" and pointed to the TV screen while Bush was speaking. She asked what his name was and I told her it was George Bush. She looked at the TV for a few more seconds, looked back at me and said "well...I wish he was George Washington instead. This guy looks very yucky."
Needless to say, my husband and I got a good laugh.

I had no idea she knew who the first President was. Needless to say, I hugged her pre-school teacher the next day.
