help settle a feud between a friend a me-re:80s saturday morning cartoons
i say there was a cartoon about this family of elves or tiny people who lived in the walls of a house-i can't remember the name. i can even picture the characters, but i can't remember much more

he says i'm imaging things and there was no such cartoon

anyone?

i'm 27, so this would have been the early 80s, probably something like 82 or 83

sorry, we tend to debate useless stuff like this a lot

this was an actual series and not a commercial

they lived inside a house and occasionaly the family's cat would try to eat them

this is one of those irritating things that will drive me crazy for days if i don't think of the name of the show

2. Sounds like The Littles, but I don't remember a cartoon.
There's been a movie or two.

7. YES! That's it
just google searched your suggestion and found a pic

you have just saved me from a frustrating night of being annoyed and trying to pry this memory from my brain

i'll go rub this in his face now

if only all victories in life were this trivial...

3. It was called "The Littles"
I know because I use to watch that cartoon when I was a kid. I miss the saturday morning cartoons of those days.

8. whatever happened to saturday morning cartoons, now that you mention it?
i guess it was killed off by cable, but none of the networks have the 5-6 hour block of kids stuff like they did when i was little

it was always something to look forward to

11. I don't know really maybe
cable played a part as well as the networks not investing as much in them as they use to. I mean there were some great cartoons like the Smurfs, GI Joe (yes I watched GI Joe), Thundercats, Transformers. Hell, even Fox had an awesome cartoon lineup during late '80's early '90's.

I believe Sat. Morning Cartoons died off when Power Rangers became popular as well as the popularity of Pokeman-type cartoons.

4. Also sounds a little bit like the book, "The Borrowers."
They did make a (Disney?) movie of it within the last decade. Don't know if they ever made a cartoon, though.
