Women are SCUM..I mean...GODDESSES!!!! Yeah, THAT's damn straight. |
|
Edited on Sat Oct-02-04 08:31 PM by ForrestGump
Just wondering how it plays the other way.
Probably unfortunately, for me.
But I do have no shortage of empirical evidence that supports the statement. Ask me anything.
EDIT: title slightly tweaked in the interest of self-preservation

I typed "Woman are WONDERFUL AND SPECIAL AND I JUST WISH THAT I HAD POWERS OF INVISIBILITY SO THAT I COULD GO INTO THEIR CHANGING ROOMS EVERYONE WAS A WOMAN" and look what came out instead.
Actually, just wondering if I could prove a point -- the technical term is 'trolling,' I believe (also see "sh**-stirring," etc) -- but I probably shouldn't have. Especially 'cos I wasn't even offended, at all, by the original post...just wondering if everybody can see things for their context and intent as I saw her post. And, yes, he was scum. So are some females that I've known. People are scum, actually -- present company excepted. Give me animals any day, just not in the Rick Santorum way...

Though it's perhaps "most people are scum." Or maybe not. Just most who've been in my vicinity lately. The US would be a lot nicer place without Republicans. Bet I'm the first to say that!

Yep, I trust that there're good ones out there. I already know good people from here, for a start.
I'd say that you're lucky, but I don't think that luck has anything to do with it...though, if I ruled the universe, you wouldn't have had to endure the alleged 'growth' and 'personal development' that is invariably said to acompany less-than-spendid previous pairings. I mean, we're not idiots -- at least not those of us on this board, by definition -- so why do we have to have all these so-called 'life lessons' demonstrated to us, often over a protracted period? I, for one, would have believed it and understood it all if I'd just read it. Shewt...

And I like you... :) I agree, that I could have done quite well without all the lessons. I chalk it up to some unknown karma from some unknown previous life. If someone wrote that book, I'd have been the first in line to buy it.
I guess the biggest advantage of having gone through all the messes, is that it makes me appreciate the one I'm with now so much more. No taking for granted here... uh uh.

I hope -- I know -- that it's bliss for you, now, at least relatively (given that there'll still be Hummers to deal with in traffic, obnoxious sales clerks, the existence of Michael Bolton, etc).
And, in the absence of any rubbing, I've decided to rub myself. :D

25. The SCUM Manifesto by Valerie Solanas |
|
It is now technically feasible to reproduce without the aid of males (or, for that matter, females) and to produce only females. We must begin immediately to do so. Retaining the male has not even the dubious purpose of reproduction. The male is a biological accident: the Y (male) gene is an incomplete X (female) gene, that is, it has an incomplete set of chromosomes. In other words, the male is an incomplete female, a walking abortion, aborted at the gene stage. To be male is to be deficient, emotionally limited; maleness is a deficiency disease and males are emotional cripples.

I can post without these gender threads totally disintergrating into violent chaos :-) :
A completely automated society can be accomplished very simply and quickly once there is a public demand for it. The blueprints for it are already in existence, and it's construction will take only a few weeks with millions of people working on it. Even though off the money system, everyone will be most happy to pitch in and get the automated society built; it will mark the beginning of a fantastic new era, and there will be a celebration atmosphere accompanying the construction.

from the SCUM Manifesto by Valerie Solonas:
To call a man an animal is to flatter him; he's a machine, a walking dildo. It's often said that men use women. Use them for what? Surely not pleasure.
Eaten up with guilt, shame, fears and insecurities and obtaining, if he's lucky, a barely perceptible physical feeling, the male is, nonetheless, obsessed with screwing; he'll swim through a river of snot, wade nostril-deep through a mile of vomit, if he thinks there'll be a friendly pussy awaiting him. He'll screw a woman he despises, any snaggle-toothed hag, and furthermore, pay for the opportunity.
