I'm giving it to a friend of mine that just bought a new condo.

I have this other great phone from the 50's .... I call it "The Lucy Phone".

It has a ringer that could wake the dead.

12. My parents had a cat long ago that would knock the phone off the hook..

Once my brother and myself had moved out they turned one of the basement bedrooms into a guest room. The cat would sleep on the bed all day with a princess style phone on the night stand.

I don't know how many tele-market calls it would take but the cat would reach over and knock the phone out of its cradle and on the floor so it wouldn't ring anymore.

My grandmother called me in a panic to run over and check on them one day. Since the phone had been busy for hours,she thought they both died or had been abducted. Heh he...
