Poll question: Who's the worse music artist - Britney Spears or Hilary Duff?
Before I decided, I compared grades for the albums. Britney gets a C for her first album and a C+ for her other two - while after hearing Hilary Duff's Metamorphosis at a listening party, I gave that a C-. So, I vote for Hilary as the worse one. Britney may have a little less singing talent, but I only like one song from Hilary's album: "Come Clean."

Hilary seems to have some acting talent unlike Britney, though.

3. Considering Hilary's more pop/rock,
I'd be inclined to agree, but I think Hilary's stuff seems so canned, while Britney has a few fun songs.

5. I don't like either of the music
but is Hillary what 15? She deserves to have a few x-tra points for being young and considered to be almost as good as Britney.

6. Still couldn't vote for Britney in THIS poll, but..
Britney might have sounded worse at Hilary's age.

2. I'd rather kill myself than listen to either!
Does that answer your question? I think Michelle Branch summed it up best in her Rolling Stone interview,

RS: What's the worst song you've heard lately?

MB: That Lizzie McGuire song is really bugging me these days. I couldn't believe it when I saw it on TRL. One lyric stuck in my head: "You always dress in yellow when you wanna dress in gold." I heard that and I was like, "Oh, man, what is going on with music these days?" But, hey, whatever floats your boat.

10. I woke up the other day...
..with that song running through my head ( I think it's called 'Why Not?'). It's the price I pay for having a house full of 'tweener' girls who watch Disney channel 24/7.

8. I'm a teacher
And I really dislike how Brit and her people have promoted the "slut" look for children. I also really cringed at Brit's interview with Tucker Carlson.

9. I voted for Hillary, simply because...
...I read an interview with her, where she was complaining about Catcher in the Rye, how it was overrated, and how "that Holden Caufield guy was the real phony, if you ask me."

It struck me then, as it still does now, that any teenager who can't relate to that book has no reason to exist.

12. Okay, you've convinced me!
I was going to vote for both until I saw that quote. Bashing the protagonist in my favorite book of all time is no way to score points with me. However, I should admit I've only heard one song by Hilary Duff and that was just a couple times. It sucked, though, so I care little about hearing anything else by her...
