*sigh* Anyone having problems with their earthlink/mozilla email?
I am having continued problems with emails dropping and/or not being sent on my earthlink/mozilla email.

I thought mozilla was supposed to be "the" solution. So far, no real help.

Anyone having the same problems and/or have any solutions/remedies/alternatives? Just had a computer friend over here today working on it.

Doesnt seemed to have helped much if any.

arghhh.......

1. Mozilla E-mail
is kinda whacky, I use it and sometimes it won't download my email from th POP3 or SMTP servers then I go use the dreaded outlook express, it works, then switch back and Mozilla magically works again....wierd.

3. Use Thunderbird for email
http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/

I use Firefox as a browser and Thunderbird for email. Both are part of the overall Mozilla project, but they are being worked on independently and eventually a new Mozilla will be based on them. Both are superior to the existing Mozilla all-in-one componants they will soon supplant.

Try it. You'll like it.

5.  A friend uses Earthlink (ugh) withThunderbird (yay!) and has no problems
so I suspect that you'll find equal success. Plus Thunderbird has a lot of advantages in its own right.
