I was curious how many of us are doing so?? You know, I bet 20% of their membership are probably trolls..What do you all think??

I do occasionally troll another repuke site that can not be named. I don't have much free time due to my jobs but I love being "one of them" and they're clueless I'm there. They have no idea that I am right there in their midst either. It makes me feel like an invisible Ninja amongst those loons.

12. I did for the first and last time the night of the debate

I decided to register at Free Republic (I think thats the one) as there was an abundance of nonsense I wanted to reply to. I attempted to come off as a republican who was making constructive criticism to others. I lasted about 10 minutes before I was banned... Oddly enough and based on the replies I received I don't think they suspected I was a Dem but rather an angry and misguided republican whose venom spewing was not appropriate to their mindless elementary school dialogs. I think the experiment for me personally was a waste of time and an unhealthy idea. I am still very young and have not learned to deal with anger well and yet I stupidly seek out situations that will inevitably frustrate and upset me.................

I know that some people go over there to "see what they're saying". We already know in broad terms what they're saying and as for the exact details, I think it's like trying to see the point of view of the mold when it's time to clean the bathroom.

The poor freeper got a stern warning for accusing a newbie of being from DU.

I fly under the radar there. I trouble them. I raise issues they would rather not discuss. Sometimes I notice other disruptors there. I think half the membership is fake. The other half is comprised of about twelve actual people, each with numerous different posting names.

posting in response to my posts. He got busted, but I didn't even though I got accused. Someone sent me a private e-mail apologizing, but he seemed like a DUer as well! I didn't think I would make it past one or two posts (and I almost didn't), but I'm still hanging in there. It's their stupidity that makes you want to cave in and confess not their ability to catch trolls.

I have a friend, a member here, who went in and disrupted them all the time. and he got banned over and over again. I'm sure he pissed them off mightily, but I can't stand THAT kind of 'talking to a wall' arguing...plus they're arguing from a standpoint of lies-the minute you want them to go beyond 'America's Pill Detector' as a source, they become extremely agitated...no time for that waste of space.

Heck, I usually don't even open a thread here unless it's garnered enough responses to get the magic "view all" link. I'm just not going to put that much effort into reading their insane, angry ramblings.

If it were set up more like this site, though, it might be fun. I'm an agnostic, and I flew under the radar at a fundamentalist Christian site for a while and subtly questioned some of their crazier beliefs (like "the Harry Potter movies are the work of the devil!"). I actually ended up getting a few of them to agree that separation of church and state is a GOOD thing both for the state and for the church.
