I mean it. I will be the only one to reply
I need MMJB help-I Want to uninstall, but I need to save my library
It has a tasty piece of mixing that I can't access any other way...I called my 'support' thinger-but to tell me how to transfer my mmjb library to somewhere in a manner that will allow them to retain their readability when I reinstall mmjb will cost about $3.00 a minute :grr: :nuke:. I need help, not cheap porn, Gateway...anyway I know how to get to the mmjb file (right click start, explore, local disk, doc and settings, prog files, musicmatch, musicmatch) and I see the library in there. The kind folks won't say if export v drop and drag-make hemming and hawing noises about messing up the library.
aside from getting rid of mmjb (Now I just want that ONE FILE) any ideas?

5. Here you go!
Hungarian Goulash Recipe

4 onions
2 pounds veal
Bacon fat
1-1/2 pints brown stock
Pepper
1 pint potato balls
12 small onions
1 cup carrot slices
1 cup turnip slices
Salt
Paprika

Slice the onion and cut the raw veal in cubes. Cook together in a little bacon fat, until brown. Transfer to casserole, pour over it the brown stock and season with pepper and paprika. Add more fat to that in the frying pan and brown in this the potato balls, small onions, and slices of carrot and turnip. Add the vegetables and salt to the casserole when the meat is partly cooked. Finish the cooking, adding more stock if necessary. This dish should cook two hours. If the broth is too thin when ready to serve, thicken slightly with browned flour rubbed smooth in water.

20. I don't think there was anything lame about it
it looks like a perfectly delish recipe! and it cracked me up :D...I was just noticing that I help when ever people ask for help on this site, I help, and I see others help.

When I signed on this morning, someone with an extremely complex 'shit took over my computer' post and 17 posts to her name got ASSLOADS of thoughtful help. another person who had about 123 posts wanted some blog indexing on google help-again ASSLOADS of help...

If you don't know anything about computers, then of course, you can't help.

I just find all the ignoring of me and my request for help depressing....

18. Spaghetti Pudding
INGREDIENTS:
4 ounces uncooked spaghetti, broken into 1 inch pieces
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons chopped cashews
2 tablespoons raisins
2 cups milk
6 tablespoons white sugar

DIRECTIONS:
Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the cashews and raisins until golden brown. Remove from pan, and set aside. In the same pan, fry the dry spaghetti pieces until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
Add the milk to the skillet, and increase the heat to medium. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat back to low; simmer until the spaghetti is tender, and the milk is thickened. Stir in the sugar, cashews and raisins; turn off heat, and let stand for 30 minutes. Serve hot or cold.

Boba Was Here

MC Chris – Fett’s Vette
Turntablerocker – Yo Baby
Armand van Helden – Full Moon
D-Influence – Sweetest Things
Serge Gainsbourg – No Comment
Playgroup – No 1
Itaal Shur – Parler
Moodyman – Music People
Maddkatt – My Life Music
Secret Knowledge – Ooh Baby
Presense – Future
Rinocerose – Lost Love
Vikter Duplaix – We All Wanna
Romanthon – Floorpiece
Five Deez – Funky

I especially like the way this mixer blends 'Fett’s Vette' into Yo Baby', which is a pretty happening tune, seeing as 'Yo Baby' are the only lyrics in the song. I am not exactly fond of Full Moon, but I guess it works here.

33. Wait until the organ black market skyrockets
Then, sell a kidney for, say, $800k, and then sell one of the lobes of your liver for the other $200k, and you're set. :D

But on a serious note, copy the playlist file (.m3u) to another directory on your machine-- like "My Documents". If you want, you could even save it to a floppy or other removable media so you have a backup separate from your computer. Then, you just have to copy it to the MMJB directory when/if you reinstall it.

The playlist file itself is just a plain old text file, which lists the name of the tracks and their location on your computer. To see for yourself, right-click on the playlist file, go to "Open With...", and choose Notepad. You'll see what I mean just by looking at it.

You can use the .m3u file with other media players, like iTunes. Just keep your music files in the same folder on your computer.

Just make sure that your music files stay in the same folder/directory when you reinstall MMJB. Otherwise, you'll have to change the information on your .m3u files, so that the directory path matches your new music folder.

Hope this helps!

do the playlists have the music files? I thought they were a path to the music files in the library...I mean I guess I don't HAVE to understand how it will work FOR it to work now, do I? :)

36. No, the playlists don't contain the music files
All the playlists show are the paths to the files on your computer. If they contained the actual MP3 files, they would be much bigger in size-- several megabytes, as opposed to a few kilobytes.

As long as your music/MP3 files stay in the same place on your computer, the playlist files (.m3u files) will still work.

:)
