On FOX, people who look and sing like big stars |
|
Don't watch. So far they've got this girl who is such a Madonna kiss-up and how she loves and idolized Madonna and how she relates to Madonne ( :scared: and I'm not going to editorialize on that, tempting as it is...)
What a bunch of mindrot!
Even with the civil unrest, I'd rather live in 1970 when television had "All in the Family" and "Maude" and other shows that encouraged THOUGHT instead of today's shows which promote THOUGHTROT.
Hmm, she looks like a passable Madonna imitator but the voice isn't right.
Hmm, will the genuine article sue this young upstart for stealing her image? :eyes: Only in America folks, and I could see that happening... sigh.

1. Have no idea what you are talking about about the singer, but I agree |
|

2. This isn't even an original concept |
|
There was a syndicated show a couple of years ago called Your Big Break that was the exact same thing. Originally hosted by Christopher "Kid" Reid of Kid and Play, later by the obnoxious preppie from Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
It was no less cheesy then, but at least it was original.
