anybody use Gmail? is it easy enough for my grandma?

my current project is putting together a computer for my grandma to use. web and email only (and hopefully, web based email). How would gmail be for someone who has never used email before? It's just going to be family, sometimes with pictures. I don't want to have to store anything on the 1gb hard drive.

If you can use hotmail you can use gmail, and gmail even auto-completes addresses as you type them. It's much better for keeping track of message too, with all the replies sorted and previewed
