Ever since the debates, when I went to the GD and GD2004 forums no one will talk to me, no one responds to my posts. :shrug: I feel so alone. :cry: Hugs needed.

I got 3 out of the 4 hurricanes. Fortunately the 3 "lesser" hurricanes. My damage is of the annoying but not catastrophic kind. Not quite enough to make that hurricane deductible per storm, but just enough to hit the budget where it hurts. Still, it could have been worse and so many people did get devastated so to complain seems really ungrateful. The way I look at it, I'm getting new carriage lights, replacing carpet I hated anyway and repairing screens that would eventually have needed replacing. My refrigerator hasn't been this clean since I moved in.

Hey, I had power and cable to watch the debates so there you go. Thanks for asking. What a great place this is. I'm so grateful my friend Kellie showed me the way. I'm in an incredibly red area of Florida. My Kerry sticker gets me far more middle fingers than thumbs up on the roadways.

After three, I would probably be ready to head elsewhere. But then, everyone says that about natural disasters in other areas. Tornadoes don't bother me here in Texas, even though I went through one in person when living in Arkansas.

Glad you have power and you got to watch the debates. Watching bush have his ass handed to him was priceless. Glad you are desplaying that Kerry sticker too. Keep him visible.

32. I'd have driven 100 miles to see the debate

*shrug* to the hurricanes. I've lived in Florida for over ten years and this is a total anomaly. I experienced two tornados in Huntsville, AL and will gladly take a hurricane over one of those nasty creatures. At least with a hurricane you have plenty of warning to get the hell out of Dodge and a direct hit doesn't necessarily have to flatten the homestead.

I've been encouraged this weekend. Two weeks ago B/C was dominating the sides of the road. Finally we're seeing K/E signs up in vacant lots, commercial properties, etc. I suspect the local democratic committee is waiting until the last minute to plaster the area.

I did at one time, but took her off. I think its best to read a variety of responses, not just tailor the world to what you want to hear and already believe. Thats what the right does. Stick their head in the sand unless the source is fox or newsmax.

It wasn't really a big deal, just posted this because sometimes it feels that way. If I wanted responses I know how to get them. You start a post on a topic like rape, abortion, using the word bitch, religion, stuff like that, take a controversial approach on your initial post, and watch the responses come in!
