At exactly what age does the hoarding and hiding of the t.v. changer. |
|
clicker, remote, or whatever you want to call it, set in with you guys? My son is 12 and for two frigging years now I've had to play search and destroy whenever I want to change the channel. And if he's the last one to have had it before he falls asleep (like now) I have to look under all the couch and loveseat covers (as well as down into them), under them, and everywhere else in the living room. (That's if I'm lucky and he didn't take the damn thing into the kitchen with him and then leave it there and fall asleep.)
Really, what is the deal about that? Because right now I'm pretty darn cranky and thinking about hiding the thing so he never finds it again. Then it will be mine, all MINE!

1. velcro, telephone extension cord, and a hot glue gun |

It works. You CAN take the remote off the velcro, but 'it's hard' - they'll drop it, and come back to it.

2. This time wasn't so bad, only had to go through half the house to find it. |
|
He had it wrapped up in the blanket he was using before he fell asleep.
I think if Theresa Heinz Kerry came out and said "John never monopolizes the remote, he always leaves it where I can find it" even freeper women would vote for the guy.
It just drives me crazy.
