Who killed Laura Palmer
I made the mistake of buying the first series of Twin Peaks - only to find out that the BASTARDS are not releasing any more. I watched it when it was on the TV all those years ago, but I forget who killed Laura.

& Who shot Agent Cooper at the end of the first series & why?

Thank you.

2. Nope, can't do it
Mere words will not satisfy...

Keep an eye out on Bravo, and if you get it IFC; they'll sometimes do Twin Peak reruns.

You've really got to see it! Trust me on this one :)

4. I get neither Bravo nor this "IFC" that you talk about...
I don't even have a proper TV - just a PC with a DVD drive.

Did I mention they are bastards?

3. I forget who shot Agent Cooper, but
if I recall right, Bob the Demon was actually Laura's creepy father. Laura and her girl friend, who was the hooker, were partying with Jaques, the sleazy French Canadian guy, and his buds. Then her father came, went into a frenzy, and killed her in the railroad car.

10. Her dad was "Bob"
Edited on Mon Oct-04-04 07:50 AM by bicentennial_baby
I always assumed he was a psychological construct built by Laura to deal with the trauma of being abused by her dad.

On edit: and he is the one who killed her, in the railroad car.
I cannot remember who shot Agent Cooper.

12. You don't need the show for this, it's explained in the film
Fire Dance Walk With Me, two hours of my life I'll never get back. Laura's end is graphically portrayed in this film, released as the coda to the cancelled TV show.

Can't remember shit about Coop being shot, don't remember if it's explained in the movie or not. If not, let's say it was...Madchen Amick. Just so I can think about her in that waitress uniform again. Mmm...pie...

15. I would blame Lynch's ADD more than Nielsen.
Lynch started farming out writing and directing almost immediately, and like latter seasons of X-Files, spun out in so many directions you couldn't possibly continue to care.

I say this with remorse because I was feeling like my beloved "Alias" was heading in the same polydirection this past year.
