8. Well they got married on a Sunday
But the reception lasted so long that I couldn't possibly fly out of Philly Sunday night and get to school Monday morning.

I guess I should've mentioned it was out of town.

9. 4 a.m. is correct
time zones confuse the hell out of me, but since my then fiancé (now husband, thankfully in the same time zone ;-) )lived in england whilst we were courting and we had that phone thing going on, i now understand that time-wise, england is 5 hours ahead (or behind, if you think of it as time already spent there).

11 p.m. monday eastern standard time is 4 a.m. tuesday in england, and anyone there might not be thrilled to be rung up at that time.

i am still confused by time zones, but i always know what time it is in england.
