Do you think it was a mistake to give up the minor key jam at the end of Eyes of the world, as they did after about 76? Was that Milking the Turkey or something?
You know the one I mean? It went Duh Duh Duh Duhduh. Duh Duh Duh Duhduh. Duh Duh Duh Duhduh. Duh Duh Duh Duhduh. Duh Duh Duh Duhduh. Duh Duh Duh Duhduh. Duh Duh Duh Duhduh. Duh Duh Duh Duhduh. Dun! and so on...

1. "Too much of everything is just enough!" |

No jam could be in too weird a minor key and, absolutely, no jam should ever be given up, ever.
"And they kept on playing!"

3. I'll vote yes, but with one caveat . . . |

The BEST version of Eyes ever actually appeared on a commercial release (but somewhere in my boxes I have the whole show it was culled from). The version that appeared on Without a Net with Branford Marsalis guesting was my all time favorite version of Eyes. Hearing Branford and Jerry trade solos on that is pretty intense :)
