1. I want one...
But cannot justify it as long as my 1GHz eMac is fast enough.

7. I totally want one...
My G3 iBook just isn't cutting it anymore (though it fully ROCKED for years) - it's a dandy graphics machine, but I want to start using it for music, and there's just no way the poor little thing will handle multitrack recording. But I have a couple more years of car payments before I can think about financing a new 'puter. Unless $3,500 falls out of the sky.

8. Mine just came in yesterday!
I bought it the first day it was available.

I bought the top of the line 20 inch. I have not put it through it paces yet but i cannot get over the large screen. Th only gripe i have is the small video card ram..64 MB ..should be 128 at least but I knew that before I bought it. The speakers are OK but not as good as on the iMac G4, another little gripe. I can get speakers for it so no big deal.

I maxed the ram out and everything.

This is my third iMac version.

I had an iMac G3, iMac G4 and now the iMac G5

They were all good machines.

To Critics: Yes it should have dual processors, better video card etc. I think it is good that is all that matters.
