Kitty Litter Cake
Serving Size: 24

Notes:
This is a fun cake! It might look gross, but it does taste good!
Ingredients:
1 (18 oz.) box spice or german chocolate cake mix
1 (18 oz.) box white cake mix
1 pkg. white sandwich cookies
1 large box vanilla instant pudding mix
12 small tootsie rolls
1 litter box (preferably a NEW one!)
1 plastic scoop
green food coloring

The best cake I ever made was from Penn and Teller's book, "How to Play with Your Food." We had a food day in the office for Valentine's Day, and I got a gelatin mold in the shape of a valentine and made a jello cake in that shape... it had a surprise in it. When I walked into the room where we were putting food, my manager was there, and she said, "Oh, that's a lovely cake!" I asked her if she wanted the first slice, and she said yes. I took out my largest kitchen knife and cut out a jagged slice for her. Everyone was looking at me weird, and when they looked back at the cake, it was "bleeding" dark red edible "blood."

I was known as the Gross Gourmet after that. I've never done this cake though. I want to now though. :)

I can't believe people ate it. The "turds" were just a little too real looking for me. On edit: I added a little green food coloring to some of the cookies for added realism.
