What's on the menu for your Debate Dinner? |
|
Since, in the eyes of Republicans, a vote for Kerry/Edwards is a vote for Osama, I thought a nice Middle Eastern dinner would be good tonight. We're having an Arabian chickpea and eggplant stew, couscous, and Syrian flatbread. How about you?

3. Hopefully Cheney will be eating some crow, with a side |
|
of humble pie. Personally, until that happens, I'll be helping myself to a case of the jitters, and a dash of nerves.

I know that'd be hard for me... oh, and garlic naan is really good. Great choice.

We're having good old middle class home made beef stew (been in the crock pot all day) with a Caeser Salad and a loaf of hot crusty FRENCH bread. Home made Rice Pudding is dessert. We'll probably open a bottle of two buck Chuck Syrrah.

A spicy Thai dish of fresh basil, chicken and curry in a coconut milk sauce.
Add a hefty helping of peanut chili oil and you have a heavenly meal.

I'm having Cheerios for supper but I'm eating them raw. I tried the sauteed ones and they are awful, anyone ever have them?

Quorn cutlets, scalloped potatoes, and baked, stuffed tomatoes. All stuff I could throw in the oven and forget about. Wine would be nice, but I'm watching my weight.
