You use a pencil, and you NEATLY complete a broken arrow. (I'm 1/16th Cherokee, so I gotta love the irony).

Fold it back into the Secret Folder, put a stamp on it and mail it back to Michigan.

6. We Use The Same System Here in Colorado
Mrs. CO Liberal and I will be early voting as soon as we can. Avoids the lines at the polls.

7. Pencil or pen?
I think on our optiscan ballots (the arrows you're describing) we're supposed to use a black or blue pen. Make double sure about the pencil!! I know red pens are a big no no.
