Is Cheney Blofeld, or Dr. Evil?

Imagine Cheney sitting there tonight, in his gray suit, petting a white cat on his lap and sneering in a Teutonic accent, "We shall wage global war to enrich our international petroleum concerns--pity you won't be around to stop me!"

Now, which movie villain do you think of when you imagine today's greatest supervillain in that setup:

• Ernst Stavro Blofeld, head of SPECTRE, nemesis of James Bond, or
  
• Dr. ("I didn't spend six years in evil medical school to be called 'Mister'") Evil, ridiculous foe to Austin Powers, baby.

1. Although Darth Cheney is Blofeldish, I have to vote for Dr. Evil

because Dick does have a Mini-Me.
(on edit) He wouldn't have a white cat, though. Maybe a wolverine or a Komodo dragon or a giant squid.

Cheney is the latter and not the former.


Bush is more like Dr. Evil.
