Actually, I'm still concerned about the Angels--they were red-hot as the season wound down. It's not going to be easy!

I have been predicting them as the dark horse in the AL since the All-Star Break. I think they can go all the way.

The level of arrogance towards the Yankees on this forum is just about unbelievable. The Yankees lost Game 1 last year, remember? Keep running your mouth.

Really dont get too cocky, I remember thinking those bronx bastards were beat after Oakland got 2 ahead at Yankee stadium granted I think they lost that ALDS because Jeremy Giambi didnt learn basic baseball fundmentals, congrads on the win but please be careful, those bastards can come back.

I'm a Twins fan...we don't that much opportunity to be cocky...so gotta take advantage of it when we can.
Twins start Radke tomorrow, and Silva Friday. Santana again on Saturday and Radke on Sunday if needed...if I have my days correct

|
They are 4 and 23 against them over the last 3 years...
Radke had a real good year though. Can't tell by his record. 4th best ERA in the AL, but tons of no decisions
Yankees start Lieber I think

Are you still talking about last year, when the Yankees lost as well? Okay, they're going out a little sooner this year. I hear that New York restaurants are great places to get overpriced beef, so the players shouldn't have any worries about picking up a couple of bucks in the off-season.
And I'm sure that the Yankees are just chock full of starting pitchers to back up Messina, so their path to the Series is paved, right?
But then, I'm a Royals fan, so what do I care about the Twinks?

23. Yankees Haters = Republicans! |
|
Historically, just about every Mayor in NYC was a Democrat who LOVED the Yankees.
In recent years, there have been a couple of schmucky Resuckplicans but their devotion to the Yankees has been lukewarm or one of expediency. But that's typical of their political party.
REAL DEMOCRATS LOVE THE YANKEES!
BTW, in case you didn't know it, Yankee players over the years helped many Democrats causes, especially in the ghettoes.

What about A-Rod giving 2K to Bush, should I use that as a blanket statement to say all yankee fans are no good bush supporters. I am gonna hate the yankees no matter how hard you try, don't bring my political beliefs in to this.

It's the whole Yankee concept...starting with Steinbrenner who is no Democrat btw.
I love the players...I think Jeter is a class act, and Rivera is unbelievable.
