I met Theresa!

It was Sunday. I would've posted then if I haven't been working on a heinously hard paper on the Faerie Queene by Edmund Spenser.

She was speaking at the Westmoreland County Democrats dinner at the Sheriton in Greensburg, PA. She gave a wonderful speech about healthcare and western PA in general.

After it was over a group of my friends had waited around to get a picture and a hand shake. She asked us questions about our school (the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg). She told a friend of mine how Pitt has one of the best psych departments in the world, which is funny cause she propped it up really high, and this friend of mine is transferring to another school after this year.

Bad food, good times, definetly something I'll remember for the rest of my life.

Pitt does have a good and really, really hard psych dept. Very clinical and research oriented. One of the hardest classes I have ever taken in grad school was in that dept. I bet Mrs. K is a great speaker. Lucky you. I haven't really seen any big Dems speak this time around. Keep missing them.
