1. How many careers did that movie destroy? |
|
And every last one of them deserved it for being involved in the horrible piece of shit.

2. Bee-Gees, Stigwood, Frampton, one might argue Aerosmith and Cooper. |

They had to get him in because no-one else could act. He's basically the narrator because of that.

before I knew anything about the real Beatles. It made me think the Beatles sucked. Little did I know.
Wasn't Steve Martin in that movie as Dr. Maxwell?

11. Whose brilliant idea was that? |

Stunningly bad. Beyond bad. Mouth-dropping bad. It was kind of like going through "It's A Small World" over and over again through the course of a day-long acid trip. Can it really get worse? you wonder. Then George Burns turns up singing Beatles songs and you realize, yes it really can.

12. It was Stigwood's idea, if I remember correctly... |
|
He had been successful cashing in on 70's culture with "Saturday Night Fever" and 50's culture with "Grease" so he assumed he could cash in on 60's culture as well. And who was bigger in the 60's than the Beatles?

The feel-good movie of the summer! You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll soil yourself with delight! Even better than "Xanadu!"
