I have a Bush Orwell bumper sticker here at work

And have actually had people come up to me and ask if they're dumping Cheney! When I ask them if they're ever heard of George Orwell they usually say: "Is he a writer or something?" I usually just shrug my shoulderss and tell them they wouldn't understand. It's for reasons like this I don't have it on my car.

it is still my favorite bumper sticker of those I have seen. But I was afraid most people would not get it... and I really didn't need * name on my car. I attended a recent Banned Books reading and a friend of mine read from 1984... I had forgotten how chilling it is and still too relevant....
