For the most part, they hang out at the park, near a creek. But now and then I've seen them scavenging in our neighborhood.
We had raccoons in our attic at one time. What a godawful mess they made!

it is cold .. we have to break down and turn on the furnace soon, I fear. I like fall, but I am always sorry to see the summer go. My son has lots of homework, but he is also now talking about presidents and is delightfully partisan. What's new with you? :)

and my teen is on work/study. Both are doing very well.
The last few days have been gorgeous here. The leaves are just starting to turn. We're going to be passing through your area right after the elections are over, on our way to visit my stepson and his family. I'll wave when we cross the river! :hi:
