Why is all my stuff suddenly breaking?
In just the last week, the following items have all broken on me:

1. My dashboard cassette deck;
2. My home stereo's CD player;
3. My swivel chair;
4. My coat's zipper.

Did somebody put a curse on me? :wtf:

1. There's usually a reason
My vacuum cleaner gave up the ghost the day after I adopted two additional cats, one of whom is a long-hair.

2. Did ya' get unexpected money?
Did ya' make the mistake of talking about unexpected money in front of your stuff? Never ever do that. They want in on it, always. Especially cars. :)

3. You know, you just might have something there!
A couple of months ago, I got the best job I've ever had. For the first time in my life, I'm beginning to get ahead financially. Well, we certainly can't have that, can we? Nope! Now I'll have to buy a whole bunch of new stuff with the money I've set aside. :eyes:

4. I'm convinced there is a fail date built into everything these days.

This past year I had to replace:
1. in-house CD player
2. in-house DVD player
3. car CD player
4. space heater that provides my only heat in winter
5. microwave

dishwasher and stove are on their last legs (landlord relaces those) and my printer is acting squirrely as is my one phone handset.

So far no zippers. My sympathies to you.

Oh yeah, I forgot. My truck died this year, too.
