"Jaws The Revenge" Dear, Sweet, Jeebus...
Edited on Wed Oct-06-04 10:16 PM by LibertyChick
Why is AMC running this el stinko movie?

There was NOTHING BETTER to run?

Did you know sharks can growl? They can lift themselves up out of the water on their back fin like dolphins?

Sharks hold grudges against the family that kills their shark relatives?

:wtf:????

1. This is a definition of "classic" that I had not encountered previously
but such is often the case on AMC lately.

They can swim from New England to the Carribean as fast as an airliner can fly!

3. el tiburon es un arbusto
Sharks hold grudges against the family that kills their shark relatives?

Think of the sharks as metaphors for a certain dynastic American family.

11. I guess around 2-3 years ago
They used to be like Turner Classic Movies. Unedited, with no commercial interruption. Plus they played good, older movies. Now they're like TBS or TNT.

7. That movie is a classic!
I love when the shark roars like lion!

The best part, however, is when the shark stands on its tail out of the water... long enough for it to get rammed by the broken bow of the ship.

Lorraine Gary gives an oscar calibar performance!

It is kinda cool how sharks navigate the globe, and how they know just where their nemesis is on land.

PS-Please tell me van Peebles lives...

9. I was 16 when that came out... we would sneak into the theater...
& rag on it...

I find it especially amazing how the shark gets progressively more fake looking through all the Jaws sequels. Rather strange considering *technological advances* in a 15 year time span...

I believe the shark actually floats across the water on several parts of that movie  It is a trash classic in its own right...
