My cat FINALLY took a SH*T!!!
He is eating up a storm and finally went potty. I think he may have had a bad week due to arthritis. Our weather in Denver has had 4 seasons in the last week and I think he was hurting. He is back to his wonderful self again...thanks for all your concern. At 16 I was very scared that age was finally kicking in.

4. Memories of Ms Fat Albert
Fat-Assad Calico who lived to 20 long years old. Spoiled rotten, but loving as well. Loved to do the "big kitty" which involved her rolling on back and stretching way out for a belly rub. She had the old fashion declawing that involved PULLING nails out. Sore feet for her as long as I can remember. I remember she always brought her "kill" for us to inspect. When I was young it was mice. As she got older it might be a stocking cap or dust bunny. lol

13. awww.....you're making me miss my cat......
I knew him for 12 years and my lover had already had him for six years previously.

It's scary when they don't poop or change habits in anyway when they're old.... I'm glad your kitty's better.

Ours was healthy until the couple of days before he died; he probably had a stroke (the vet thought) and then wouldn't eat or drink and then went into labored breathing, all very rapidly. The vet said his kidneys had shut down. He was struggling so bad for a breath I finally took him in later that day and had him put to sleep as I prayed Buddhist mantras in his ear. Oh crap I think I'm gonna cry again, haven't in years...I loved that cat so much.....

Big hug from me to you and your sweet cat...

18. I hope it's many years in the future too....
Cats can live a very long time when well-taken care of and it sounds like yours is that way.

We don't really know how old our Murphy was when he died because he was rescued from the streets.

15. You need to have the photo posted somewhere on the internet
Then you just type in the url here. There are a lot of sites that allow you to upload pictures for free.

Carl is indeed a very handsome cat. I got him about 12 years ago when he was a stray at the animal shelter. He's been leading a pretty spoiled life ever since.

11. I've got a question
My sweetie pie Bullwinkle is 16 too and suffers from arthritis. I've been giving her liquid glucosamine which seems to help a lot, but I know her joints still ache. Are you giving anything to your cat?
