Is anybody else having trouble with this site?

Something going on with avatars-- none load, but it causes lock ups...

My browser to lock up and I can't get anything to load. This is a very recent problem (<36 hours)and is less severe if I use MIE than if I try to use mozilla. I think it has something to do with all the monkeying around with the Bush2face gif though, because I could tell it was trying to download that image and then locked up.

I'm also constantly getting "can't find server" messages when I try to post.

I have no problems with any other URL and have rebooted 5 times, defraged my system, checked for viruses and anything else I could think of. Very very frustrating, as my system locks up after about 3 or four attempts to refresh.

1. No avatars, but no lock-ups (Safari on Mac) -- mine produces copycat

threads. I can't stop it!
