Anyone see the "Fifth Estate" show on Cheney last night?

It was on the CBC. Not lot of info we DUers didn't already know. But good to see a show like this on mainstream tv. Too bad we don't get shows like this in the U.S. Good thing I live next to the Canadian border.

1. Brilliantly

produced show. And I must say that I feel like living close to the border is an insurance policy. Big Canada fan here. Also, as regards the show, I'll bet that there is information in it that quite a few DUers don't know, and even if you know it, the show served as a great reminder. Really, really well done and damning.

One of the things that surprised me was that before the first Gulf War, we were shown spy photos that revealed thousands of Iraqi tanks on the Kuwaiti border. The photos that Russia had, showed there were no tanks whatsoever. So THAT was an unjustified war as well!

3. That's the thing that got me

too. I dimly recall hearing that the build up of Iraqi tanks and troops was bullshit, but seeing the evidence of the lies was startling. And the supposed sat pictures taken by the U.S. have never shown up. Thanks for the link.

5. Bob McKeown the reporter for CBC also does work for NBC......I wonder

if they'll use him again after this....In fact I wonder if he'll be allowed over the border!.....It was an excellent show....The Fifth Estate does very good investigative reporting about a lot of things...
