ARRG! I'm having a Nic fit! I need help!
:grr: :argh:

I'm fiending for a smoke and today is day 45 of quitting. I have the overwhelming urge to run around the block screaming like a nut case or taking a fire ax to the Network Operations Center just to relieve the tension!

FU*K!!!!!!

2. Visualize it
Close your eyes and imagine yourself holding that fire axe... see yourself running and smashing everything in your path to tiny bits. Breathe in slowly as deep as you can, filling your lungs from the bottom to the top... then exhale just as slowly, emptying from the bottom until your chest feels completely empty. Repeat while continuing to imagine yourself destroying everything in your path until the tension fades.

Works for me! (*sometimes*)

5. Stop smoking , it's tough but you can do it
Just think of having to start all over again after 45 days. It is easier to resist that urge now than to go through this all over again. I did it after smoking 45 years, this is my fifth year. Please have faith, it will pass. I had a few pain killers, that helped, but do not depend on them, they are also addictive.

6. Thanks guys and gals!
The fit has passed. I chose to peel and eat an orange. Which I mangled more than peeled but it got the job done.
