Smart computer people - I have a question
When my browser is open I get another small window in the bottom right of my screen. It can't be opened or minimized or closed with the X. On the top it says:

---Web...

Is this some kind of tracking thing ? I already reran adaware with an extensive scan, did the Norton Symantec virus check after doing live update, and did tools, internet options, delete files, delete all offline content, delete cookies, and clear history. When I open a second browser it is not there.

Does anyone know what this is ? Agent Mike maybe ? Anyone know ?

1. You can't "grab" a corner of it with your mouse and stretch it out?

2. it's a goofy
thing from some free spyware remover that is actually spyware itself. Took me forever to figure that out and get it off mine. If you have some free spyware, not Adaware or spybot, but some other freeebie that is probably whats causing it. Uninstall that or do CTL ALT DEL and look at whats running when it comes up, maybe it will be listed and we'll wack it out of the registry.

4. Who knows what evilness lurks in your plumbing?
It is more than likely a spyware/adware program!

In addition to scanning for those, make sure to run an anti-virus scan.

Also check you add/remove programs list for any programs that you don't use, appear suspicious or have names that contain words like search, web, internet and remove them.
