Got a new table saw last night and
I still have all my fingers. I haven't plugged it in yet and so far the only injury I've sustained is when I dropped the blade on my foot. Those sumbitches are sharp.

1. What did you get?
All household projects are on hold until I cut my wainscotting, for which I need to buy a table saw. Recommendations?

4. well
I had a Craftsman but the fence and miter gauge was crappy so I got the new Ryobi BTS15. It has this really cool miter cutting gauge. The better one is the BTS3100 but it's 299. Online some people complain they can't cut dados but it's easy to solve that but making a new blade template thing with a bigger slot. The BTS15 is 169 at Home Depot and I measured it for square a thousand different ways and it was right on everytime. The Craftsman couldn't cut a straight line, looked like bushes flight paths when he flew.

2. Dude, if you've already hurt yourself and haven't plugged it in
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and tell you - don't do it.
Some people are not do-it-yourselfers, no matter what the commercials say.

5. I'm a ok
Do-it-yourselfer I just get hurt alot. Good thing I married a doctor. I try to make the complicated cuts when she's home, that way I don't loose as much blood.

As far as pain meds go though, I could have a 2X4 stuck in my thigh and I get like Advil.

8. Excellent planning ahead Norm with the marrying the doctor part
I think my dad needs to be in y'all's club. He's the only person I've ever seen to hammer his thumb - twice - while fixing something. I had to go inside I was laughing so hard and I was old enough for him to throw the hammer at me. Ah...our Irish tempers....

I do have a co-worker who's shot someone in the butt with a nail gun. Can he join too?

9. The more the merrier
Unless you're talking digits, which in our case would probably be slightly fewer

3. I bought a new circular saw
a couple of days ago, and immediately left it out in the rain.

We should start a club or something.

6. LOL
I just built a shop but it's too small for a big table saw. I may have to cover mine until I do an addition.
