Characters in movies you suspect are Republicans
This thread is for characters in movies that you suspect are Republicans even though they don't explicitly say they are. I'll start.

The kid from deliverance has GOT to be a Republican. Hell, he even looks a little like "Dubya"

4. As for Republican characters...
Jeffrey Lebowski I would suspect.
The military guy (I forget his name) in American Beauty.
Ed Rooney, the principal from Feris Bueller's Day Off.

I dunno, I'll try to think of others.

18. HaHaHa
Jeffrey Lebowski. A hilarious caricature of a Republican. He even had a trophy wife. Now, "The Dude"...if he bothered to vote, and I'm dubious, well, The Dude is one of us. The Dude abides. And Donny. May he rest in peace.

29. A bunch...
... and none of them all that nice:

Mr. Potter in "It's a Wonderful Life."

The sheriff's deputies in "Easy Rider."

The grocery store owner (and probably Bud, too) in "Repo Man."
(Nah, on second thought, Bud's definitely a Libertarian.)

Big Daddy in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof."

Prof. Jerry Hathaway in "Real Genius."

Gen. Jack D. Ripper in "Dr. Strangelove." (Certainly, Gen. Turgidson, too. Ripper is real right-wing, Turgidson is one of the moderates.)

George Fox in "Starman."

Pauline Axelrod in "Salvador."

Howard Roark in "The Fountainhead."

Milo Minderbinder and Arfy Aardvark in "Catch-22." (Honorable mention to Cols. Cathcart and Korn.)

Many more....
