I'm thinking of buying a used one.
Anybody here have anything good or bad to say about the Saturn SW2?
Thanks

They're cheap, they depreciate real hard. A Focus or a Taurus might be better in terms of modernity and carrying capacity. These cars are real hard depreciating as well and so are often bargains. Front wheel drive American cars can be real cheap used. And nothing depreciates like an American minivan.
Subaru has made a good name in AWD. I don't know why the Japanese don't sell wagons over here like they did. No more Accord, Camry, Maxima or even Mitsubishi wagons. they all have crossover vehicles like the Highlander, Element, Murano, etc. Saturn has one too, it's called the VUE and I bet that vehicle is real cheap used. It's all that "special" financing that's ruining the value of American vehicles.
Probably the best American compact wagon ever is the PT Cruiser.
The Germans have fabulous compact wagons like the 3 series, the A4 or even a Jetta.

4. I had a '93 Saturn Wagon |
|
There were a lot of little things I didn't like about it...Seats weren't comfortable, poor layout of controls, that kind of stuff. It was quite practical though. I think the newer ones are a lot better. If you can find a Japanese wagon, get that. The Japanese cars are much better.
