BEST Music to be Stoned to?
What type music do YOU like best? What's your FAVORITE song to listen to while traveling the transdimensional planes?

Just seeking some thread-balance here... ;)

4. I suggest Todd Rundgren, A Wizard, A True Star...
This music with the headphones on in my opinion is the ultimate. You have to listen to the complete thing because they blend seamlessly into one another and it tells a story of sorts. The album cover art should hook you even without listening.

Give it a try. I believe if you like cosmic stuff, you'll be a fan for life.

7. Sonic Youth, Balinese Gamelan Music, (need I say?) Reggae
As a medical marijuana patient (epilepsy, Central Pain Syndrome) I listen to most of my music fairly to very stoned. Sonic Youth, Gamelan, and Reggae have been on my play list this week.

11. It's been a long time since I was free to do that, but
back in the day I liked Pink Floyd's 'Dark Side of the Moon' and any Stevie Wonder from 'Innervisions' to 'The Secret Life of Plants.' And for a really mellow musing there's Vaughan William's 'Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis.'

Then again almost any musical form can spark some new appreciation when traveling the transdimensional planes. Or is it the other way around?

I'm still trying to find the "elevator string" version of 'And I Love Her' that came on the radio while riding in the back seat of a car on our way home from a party back in '75. At the time I thought it was a George Martin arrangement from the 'Hard Days Night' soundtrack, but it was probably some kind of Mantovani variant.

Peace.

13. Belle & Sebastian
I meantioned this in the earlier thread. They're a neo-60's pop alternative (that's the best I can describe them) band from Scotland.

17. BTW , I highly (no pun intended) recommend listening to the
Clash do 'If music Could Talk" from Sanidinsta with headphones. the song has a left and right channel track and if you listen to it while wearing headphones, it is out of this world. If you are stoned while listening to it through headphones, well.... what can I tell you?
