Need help with DU RSS feed-

I can't get the ticker to update properly the new stories. Even if I tell it to update manually, it doesn't show the new ones. The only way I get it to is by going to http://www.democraticunderground.com/rss/lbn_feed.php in the web browser and force-reloading it (Ctrl-F5), and then telling the program to update. I think it's refresh must not be overriding reading from the cache. Is there a way to get it to -not- cache a specific address?

The feed and updates work fine for me, using liferea on Linux

do you have any other news aggregators that you can test it with?

2. I could certainly get one to try,

but not at the moment. This one I'm using is the only I could find that did what I wanted it to - namely, an IE toolbar that scrolls. I've tried changing my cache settings to "check every time", and am waiting for a new LBN to see if it works.
