I'm sick as a dog
Edited on Fri Oct-08-04 12:31 AM by Prisoner_Number_Six
I have a summer cold coming on. With my crappy immune system, it's getting rough pretty fast. The sweats, the chills, a bug-eyed headache coming on, and just plain feelin' lousy.

I took an extra pain pill and plan to just sleep all night and all day tomorrow. (Been holding out 'cause my favorite show, "Emergency", comes on at 0030 hours...)

Arf arf woof! :nopity:

3. I'm officially bummed
It's not on tonite. They're playing a horse race, for cryin' out loud! (It's a local "old tv show" station.)

Yeah, it was the best and the first of the fireman stories. It kicked ass.

4. I can't believe it!
Another human who appreciates the masterpiece. I did not even know it was still on tv.

My favorite episode was when they found a cobra in the hotel room and they grabbed that old tinted glass ashtray and it was spitting all that venom but he used that ashtray as a venom-shield, just like wonder woman and her gold bracelets. That rocked!

Hope you feel better soon!

5. Some trivia
Edited on Fri Oct-08-04 12:50 AM by Prisoner_Number_Six
The original captain was a real fire captain. He quit after 9 episodes because it was interfering with his work.

Mike Stoker was a real fire truck engineer. Since they used a real fire engine the fire department insisted on a real engineer so the equipment wouldn't be accidentally destroyed.

The fire station was a real working fire station.

Bobby Troup (Dr. Early) and Julie London (Dixie) were married in real life.
