You can't beat the personal touch sometimes. My mom made them herself and along different lines, very tounge and cheek, personalized, and funny:
"Introducing a new model for 1972:
Sarah Elizabeth, born February 18th, 6 pounds 15 ounces, and Ralph Nadar approved"
I would be highly surprised if there's anyone else out there with a reference to Nadar on their birth announcement. :P
