Poll question: What should I name my production company? |
|
Since this music thing is starting to get quasi-serious, I want to come up with a production company name, but I can't decide. Here are some ideas.
Here's the significance behind each name:
1. Clownfist Enterprises- One of the first mock business cards I ever made was for Clownfist. The motto: -Silly Justice -Vigilante Hijinks -We do mime work.
2. 108 Productions- my birthdate.
3. evil.otto Productions- my original handle on acidplanet.
4. BTBM Productions- That's an easy one.
5. Green Room Productions - My den is green.
OH, and cynics, you may think I'm trying to plug my stuff...you'd be right!

I hate "enterprises". It's always sounded, well, like a business set up in the den. I like Clownfist Productions. Clownfist is memorable, piques ones curiosity, and the fist gives an unspoken image of tough and serious too.

4. You could borrow a name my now-defunct produciton co. used |
|
We were a thread-bare theater group that seemed to hold everything from the set to the sound board together with duct tape. So we called ourselves Duct Tape Productions. You can email me at sttaylor77@aol.com if you want more on this or other names.

11. Really, it's just a production company in name only. |
|
I do home recordings; mostly ambient and soundscape stuff, with the occasional noise thrown in for good measure. I'm finally getting a CD together of the stuff I recorded so far.

Were you in bands back in the day? My husband does a bit of ambient and trancey stuff on the computer. I used to tease him that he should have been a trance dj or something...

15. Sadly, I was never in a band. |
|
Could never get the scratch together for equipment, not to mention I'm tragically uncool. I'm doing this now because I've been wanting to for years. Oh, and I'm a control freak, so nothing but 1-man bands for me!

18. no one is really uncool ( except maybe fascists) |
|
in my opinion. And if there is such a thing as uncool, it never stopped me from playing. Control freak, that's another matter. ;)

Maybe it's October 8th, or maybe, just maybe it's January 8th.

;-)
Wouldn't that imply that January would be 0108? :P
It's all in jest.
