Anyone going to be watching the debate with TiVo?
between pausing to yell at the TV, and "what did he just say" instant replays, the 90 min debates have been taking us 2 hours (and no commericals to ff through)

2. I can't watch anything without Tivo anymore.
I need those instant replays! And I can't shut up anymore because I'm so used to being able to hit the pause button!

4. LOL we spent so much time having to pause because we were LAUGHING
we kept pausing and pausing.

"Did he really say that? ROFL" and back up to listen again.

It does take extra time that way. And it's weird because I was on here too and people would be posting about stuff that we hadn't seen yet.

5. and TiVo knows what you watch
I am too poor in the America of the cheney-bush junta to afford TiVo, the holy grail of TV watchers everywhere...

just don't get the fancy schmancy

the older units (usually refurbs) are down to what a dvd player costs

9. a friend gave me a TV to replace the 15 year old tv I borrowed from
my sister, which replaced the 1980 no remote all green picture TV my mom gave me. So I can't afford TiVo :) Plus-they know what you watch-which is too 'Fahrenheit 451' for me

Makes life easier for me! Helps with the debates also!

ON EDIT: I also have a dvd recorder on my TV, I have learned to copy special events like this for future reference!
