Davis Love- "George bush sr. has been like a grandfather to guys like me. I'll vote for his son again because what he stands for morally is more important than the politics side of it"

Bob Tway- "I'm voting for bush, I don't think you'll find anybody on tour voting for Kerry"

Rich Beem- "I don't think bush is screwing up the country that bad"

At least there's David Duval, muzzled as he is- "No comment. I'm a registered Democrat"

So glad the Euros kicked their asses in the Ryder Cup, the selfish greedy pricks.

I don't think they're being elitist. I think their views reflect more upon geography and upbringing.

People with good values, compassion and integrity can be found amongst people of all economic levels. Likewise, no group has the monopoly on assholes.

It would be nice if we could finally reach that place where people are judged for the content of their character rather than the colour of their skin or the contents of their wallet.

surprise.

Most tour players come from money backgrounds....how else could you afford to spend all the time it takes to hone your game and travel about.

BTW: I met "Gentle" Ben Crenshaw when I lived in Austin Tx. His club, Onion Creek was a pretty racist place and he was certainly the darling of that crowd and a major asshole himself.

...on cheap or free par 3 courses. You end up avoiding individuals like these.

Note: I'm not saying all golfers are like this, of course. I find the sport quite relaxing at times.
