My New Favorite Funny Woman: Wanda Sykes!!

As usual, I'm a little behind the curve when it comes to keeping up with who's hot. I'd never before seen her or heard of her until I watched an episode of Celebrity Poker... she just CRACKED ME UP and had me in stitches the whole time!!

Now she's got a new series called "Wanda Does It" on Comedy Central... I watched the first episode this week, and she didn't disappoint. It was great, silly, escapist humor.

She used to do these weird little pieces for HBO's Inside the NFL (maybe she still does, I don't have cable anymore). She's also great at stand-up. She doesn't hold back.

I first saw her on Chris Rock, then she had her own show that I absolutely loved. I don't know why more people don't like her, I think she's terrific!

You have to be in the right mood to handle her. If you are, she is really funny. Otherwise she can get on your nerves pretty quick.
