We will see after the first show during the debate what Star Trek style "timeline" will be "selected". If Bush does badly an Kerry does well, we will be propelled along the proper space-time continuum into the Star Trek future. If not, well...

My wife and I have been looking forward to this. What a great combo that will be, first Enterprise then the debate.
From what I hear there's going to be a 3-part story arc this season which will delve deeply into Vulcan history/culture. Sounds like there's some potential there.
