Thank You Chicago DUers from RationalRose
Thanks for meeting up with me at Jimmy's Woodlawn tap while I was in Chicago-special thanks to prolesunited for organizing the event! My aunt loved meeting you guys-she wants to register on DU but she is somewhat of a digital luddite.

We had a blast watching the debate-not sure if some of the other bar patrons appreciated our comments but it sure was fun. I hope to get to Chicago more often on business so I can party with y'all again!

:yourock:

:hi:

1. <muah>
It was good to see you, Rosie!

I'm back in my home state as well. That kind of sucks, BTW.

Aside from that, I'd also like to thank my Chicago friends for showing up and tolerating my drunk ass. The next time we do it, I'll be a "local", and the first round will be on me.

To MKUHL: Hey. Sorry for getting a half-wood when I hugged you prior to leaving. Proles slipped me some rufies in hopes that she could take advantage of me later that night.

To XNASA: Thanks for the veggies. We had them with black beans and rice the following night. (I cooked!)

To antiwarwarrior: Next time we meet, you'll be drinking real drinks and we'll all laugh at you!

To everyone else: You guys kick serious ass! Thanks for making me feel "at home".

To whoisalhedges: You can keep the cock-ring. I don't want it back after it has been stretched out.

5. GAH! The "peanut gallery" chimes in!
Trust me, AWW. I will laugh at you when you end the night with a good pants-crap. If anyone else laughs, I will break their knees.

7. Rose, I am so sorry I couldn't meet you...would have loved it....
Heck, I was disappointed that we were in Seattle at different times last year.

But I had a previous commitment I could not get out of.

Not a good night. Heard from my sweetie :loveya: when I got home (we live in different cities) with the news that his sister had died. She had brain cancer and this was expected; the family is just relieved that she is now at peace and did not suffer a lot towards the end.

He needed to talk to someone who is non-family, non-work and not connected to all the arrangements he had to make that day to take the necessary time off work to transport himself and his elderly father to Idaho where the sister lived for the funeral. He also needed to talk about non-family and non-death related things.

Maybe next time....

9. Thanks for the good wishes.
The family is doing fine.

Hope to see you next time, I haven't been to Boston since pre-DU. Vacationed on the Cape in September, 1999. You take care also.
